Very tasty subs. Not like the chain sub places. You are greeted upon entering. The decor takes you back 50+ years. Toys. Lunch boxes. Photos. Small but worth it.

This place was amazing! We were driving to NC. Wanted a sub shop. Firehouse and this came up. We took a chance and so worth it. Everyone was friendly, made sure we were happy. Open since 1981!!! They've obliviously been doing something right!

I’ve been eating her for 25 years. It’s hard to beat the hot sandwiches from the steamers. The service is great and the people, even the teenagers that work there, are very nice. Get a limeade. A large one.

The sub was good and it was ready quickly. They are still not letting anyone in the building though.

Classics is fantastic! The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Even if the line is long, stay. They work through that line so quickly. They have a great attitude and make the best subs and sandwiches. There is just something special about the sandwitches coming out of that steamer. They are delicious. Oh and the decor (just got freshened up) but it is a trip down memory lane. The shows at the coliseum. They must have catered them all. Quit reading reviews and GO. Oh and make sure you get a Limeade. Trust me. HEAVEN

Neat, friendly sandwich shop. Great selection of sandwiches to choose from. Cool environment for in store dining with lots of photos of country music stars (they did catering for music festivals in the area at one time). Lots of nostalgic doo-dads/movie posters to look at as well. The sandwich I had (Italian sub) was very good. Should have asked for "light on the mayo", however. Also had the lime-ade, which was quite refreshing. Btw, they steam the rolls, which makes the sandwich easier to eat. Highly recommended.

Tiny little place, can be hard to miss but you won't want to. The atmosphere is very relaxing but you can tell they really are in a hustle to get you your food. However that does not mean their service is worse because of this. They were super nice and the food is great! Got the classic supreme with fires and tried their "famous" limeade. Super sweet but good.

Sandwiches are great, Turkey and cheese is my usual but no matter what sandwich you order, fries are a must. I think they are the best fries I've ever had, seasoned just right and absolutely perfect with ketchup!

I am in love with this place! I could eat here every day. I have never tried anything I didn't like but the Italian is by far my favorite item on the menu. Don't forget to get cheese on your fries and to add a Limeade to your order!

Awesome service. The girls are the front keep the line moving and are super friendly. The place is very clean and organized. Looks like a museum with all the oldschool novelty stuff in there. My salad was absolutely delicious. And you must..I repeat must try the Lime-aide drink. So glad I stumbled onto this place.

Sandwich I had was okay great friendly people but the food taste like a regular sandwich I will try the steak and cheese next time

Best subs and limeades. My family and I always love going to eat there.

It was confusing on how to order. Cheese Steak was steak um meat🙄 with no flavor. Small portions and high prices. Saw some major sanitary issues!! Restaurant needs update. Staff was nice though.

I've been eating Classics since I can remember... and so has my young'in!! I stop to pick my family up a round of Steak&Cheese subs every time I'm in town — they've actually expect 'that's what's for dinner' on the days I go to RIC!!

Great subs and fries. You think you've had the best sub? No you haven't if you never ate here. lime ade is delicious and tasted great with the food definitely would go again!!!

Very good home made subs!

Great place to get a bite. Call in ahead of time. It gets crowded at lunch. Limeaids are great here. I always get roast beef or the Chicken Cesar. My girlfriend gets the veggie pita and says it's amazing. Solid place, solid crew. Check out all the cool memorabilia on the walls from Classics many years catering to the Nascar Races, and Concerts in the area. Signed photos from many many many big stars.

This place is a small sandwich shop that could easily be over looked..but its is well worth a visit. The staff is very friendly and they have great food..I love the everything they offer!

These folks make outstanding subs. They've been in business over 30 years. Not a chain store. I visit every time I'm in the area.

Great selection of sandwiches, amazing lime-aids, and a good staff that after a while even remembers who you are and what your going to order.

Best service and salads in town!

Was turned off by the 'cook'. Was asking questions of the young lady at the counter and before she could explain, he asked her what we wanted and took over the conversation in a not so professional nor helpful way. Took our business to Jimmy John's.
